Also don't like the layout as much.įL studio: visually it's kind of similar with plugins and libraries so it's not a total no but some things bug me So I bring my search to you: What DAW is most similar to Logic in terms of program layout, UI, packaged plugins and VSTs, and other such things? Here are the few I've tried that I'll rule out to narrow it down:Ībleton- Industry standard, yes, but not a fan of session vs arrangement view. I'd like to upgrade to something else but my efforts to find a very similar DAW through demo versions have been fruitless and i just don't have the storage space to keep running that circuit. I've been using Cakewalk for now to apply what I've been learning in Logic in other situations but it's as bare bones as can be and there's some things about the UI that bug me to no end but quite a bit of the layout of the program is similar. #Logic pro daw mac os#(Also I just really dislike Mac OS anyway.) ![]() Buying Logic isn't an option because I own a (albeit very nice) windows gaming laptop and buying a Mac to get logic also isn't an option because of aforementioned expensive laptop. Now that summer is coming up, I won't have access to those computers for several months but am still in the middle of several projects. Background: At my university conservatory we have Logic on all of the computers which is mainly what I've been using for creating music outside of score editing since last semester. ![]()
